What Can You Recycle?
Are you doing all that you can to recycle? Do you have two or more recycling bins? Do really know what can and cannot be recycled? The problem is that every community has different rules on what can and cannot be recycled. I always wondered if what I put into the recycling bin was actually just taken to the dump. Here is a list of items you may not have thought of recycling. Do you recycle?

Don’t forget to reuse as much as possible before recycling. Don’t buy plastic bags! Reuse the produce bags from the grocery store, then recycle them when they tear. Use the grocery bags you wind up with (because you forgot to take your reusable shopping bags) to line your trash cans.
Use the back of envelopes and the bottom part of bills to make lists, then recycle them when you are done.
Wash jars and reuse them to store leftovers.
Yes, recycling helps a lot, but reducing what we buy in the first place, and then reusing it as much as possible helps much, much more! Thanks!

Can I recycle junk mail, including the plastic windows in the envelopes? I have been opening the mail so I can tear out the plastic windows and toss them out, then recycling the rest, but it gets tedious.
